Gears of War Judgement Character Profiles

The upcoming instalment of the Gears of War franchise introduces some new main characters alongside some old favourites from the original trilogy. Judgement is set years before the first game so some characters like Baird and Cole are a lot younger then they are in the other 3 games.

Kilo Squad Bios:

Damon Baird:

Before this sarcastic, genius mechanic went on to help Marcus Fenix save the world, Baird worked his way through the Gears ranks. Hes always quick to joke, but Judgment suggests theres more to his character than being a comedian.

Augustus Cole:

A former Thrash Ball player turned soldier the "Cole Train" became famous in Sera for his on-feild performance and boisterous demeanour. Cole met Baird soon after enlisting, and the two quickly became best friends.

Garron Paduk:

A miltia refuge from the Union of Independent Republics. Garron comes from the other side of The Pendulum Wars. He brings a new perspective and brush personality to Kilo. Garron is the devil on Baird's shoulder that say's "Let's blow stuff up."

Sophia Hendricks:

A cadet from the onyx guard academy, she is more in line with colonel loomis by the book approach to combat. E-day halted her path to graduation from the academy, but she is still worth the soldier. She is the opposite of Garron, ready to suggest informing superior officers of every deviation from protocol.

E3: Gears of War Judgement Overview + Multiplayer Gameplay

Epic games really surprised their fans at E3 this year, releasing both a trailer for their new game Gears of War Judgement but also releasing gameplay this early as well. The quality coming from the game this early on shows that the game itself might have already been in development from Epic's sister company People Can Fly who are working alongside with Epic in this 'spin off' if you would like to say of the GoW franchise.

Gears of War Judgement is set prior to the events of the first Gears of War game and focuses on  Damon Baird (originally a primary/secondary character in Gears of War 1,2 and 3), a lieutenant in the C.O.G (Coalition of Governments) army and the leader of Kilo squadron. In the extended trailer (embedded below) he is shown with handcuffs on and in what looks like a trail and from what the judge says 'desertion, cowardice, trespassing, the theft of experimental military technology and treason.' He is being tried for war crimes as what he had done 'millions of citizens you've sworn to protect might die because of what you've done.'

Epic's reveal of the game also included a minute-long snippet of a new multiplayer mode to be included exclusively for Judgement. Overun is a two round based gametype with one team playing as C.O.G and other playing as the different species in the Locust horde head-to-head. Your task as the Locust horde is to breach two sealed emergence holes before destroying the C.O.G generator, the C.O.G are annihilated by a Kyrll storm when you break the seal of one of the emergence holes and your team gains another spawn position adding several minutes to the clock allowing you more time to focus on the generator. Scoring is determined by the amount of objectives that each time complete within the time scale.

More Multiplayer information and rumours is too be followed in further articles and videos.
